Who I Am and What I Do

I’m a screenwriter, filmmaker and longtime Script Consultant with a background spanning stand-up comedy, independent film and story development. I work with writers of all levels at every stage of the process — from early drafts to the final polish — helping them better hone and shape their story without compromising their unique voice or vision. My approach is craft-driven, honest and collaborative, with a focus on excavating the story beneath the story — discovering what the true emotional journey at the heart of the plot is, and uncovering the most gratifying way for the characters to experience it on the page. Whether through written script notes, mentorship and instruction sessions, or individual script consultations, I believe in helping writers understand their own work more deeply, so they can move forward with confidence and intention.
